Knuckle eye
Knuckle eyes can be used as standard connectors on the piston rods of pneumatic cylinders or gas springs. One important aspect is that the dimensions of these knuckle eyes can be determined in such a way that a clevis according to DIN 71752 / ISO 8140 can be used as an exact mating piece. As a result, it is an easy task to design and manufacture universally applicable joints with female and male thread as connecting parts.
Knuckle eyes in the sizes 3.5 through to 14 in steel and stainless steel are available as standard.
